Beethoven's Birthday
Ludwig van Beethoven was born December 16, 1770 in Bonn, and baptized the next day. Our goal is to make December 16th a global day of celebrating Beethoven with music and parties. IBP first began this tradition on December 16th, 2010, on the occasion of the master’s 240th birthday, in Chicago. Every year, we wish to expand the celebration to many more cities and countries, by presenting and by partnering with local organizations and Beethoven fans.
